I remember growing up this was one of my favorite VHS tapes that I would watch probably a half a dozen times a year. I haven’t watched it in the last 5 years because of a lack of a VHS tape player. Hopefully when they bring the Back To The Future Trilogy to Blu-Ray they will include this in the extras.
For those of you unfamiliar with The Secrets Of The Back To The Future Trilogy this was made for TV and was released after Back To The Future III and later brought to VHS. Kirk Cameron was the host and as he answered “fan letters” he showed behind the scenes footage on how each of the special effects were accomplished.

Hey I was looking at your blog. Well I don’t know if you know already but the secrets of the back to the future is on the DVD’s. It’s in the extra features on the Back to the Future III DVD!! And Yes! it’s the one with Kirk Cameron! Just thought I would tell you. Great blog by the way!
I recall the footage from the Secrets of the Back to the Future Trilogy in the extras on the back to the future trilogy dvds but I did not find the Kirk Cameron footage.
Oh! it’s there! I showed to my wife. And we laughed about how corny Kirk Cameron was on that show. I think they made sure it was the last possible thing on the extras so only the nerds like me would find it. It’s found it the section of the Back to the future III extras a couple of screen in, it’s got stuff on it like this:

Believe me that’s the first thing I looked for when I got the DVD’s. It’s corny but I still like to watch it.
Cool I will probably watch it once I go home today.
