Purchased A Delorean

I purchased the Delorean today. It’s a 1982 Delorean with grey interior, manual transmission and 17,500 miles.

I paid $14,000.00 for it and it’s in good condition and is a perfect Delorean car for a Delorean restoration.

Cosmetically the car needs to be cleaned and polished. There are 2 small dents one on top of the driver’s door and the other is on the hood. Nobody has noticed the dents until I pointed them out.

The headliner is sagging, the driver’s seat is torn, and the binnacle has a crack. The dash itself is not cracked but it has lost some of its color in certain spots and needs to be re-dyed and the bumpers and louvers need to be repainted.

The engine runs good but needs a tune up. I plan to change the oil, transmission fluid, coolant, spark plugs and I need to fix the A/C.

Currently the A/C is not blowing cold. I found out it uses R-12 which can be very expensive but found an alternative called Freeze 12.

I will show some of my friends the Delorean tomorrow and take some pictures.
