Delorean and Back to the Future – Blog about Deloreans

Been writing a Back to the Future 4 screenplay for fun. Got some really good scenes but having some problems with a few parts of it.

If anyone would like to discuss some of my ideas and offer some suggestions email or gmail chat me.

I’m currently in Thailand with my wife and going to the beach everyday. Since I know the Delorean Time Machine like the back of my hand. I’m going to attempt to create it in the sand. Definently won’t be to scale.

Back in Miami I have my dad starting my Delorean every couple of weeks. I’ll be back in a few months. I have some Back to the Future posts I will be publishing shortly.

Is Bollywood remaking Back to the Future? RealBollywoodNews is reporting that Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai have been cast in Action Replay (yeah, horrible title…), a film which will be unofficially based on the popular 1985 Robert Zemeckis film Back to the Future. BTTF.com was able to contact Future producer/screenwriter Bob Gale who denied any knowledge of the production.

Bollywood has a long history of “borrowing” film storylines from popular Hollywood films (google “bollywood star wars”). The ages of the two leads (41 and 35 respectfully) confirm that it won’t be a close adaptation. Action Replay will begin production in February 2009.

It seems like down vests are becoming more and more popular recently. I was walking around the mall yesterday and saw some in the True Religion store. It was not screen accurate but it wasn’t half bad.

But for the $149 price tag, I wouldn’t buy it.

The movie is called 9 staring Jennifer Connelly, John C. Reilly, Elijah Wood, and Crispin Glover. Crispin Glover portrays 6. I don’t know much else about the movie but it looks like its a animated film about the end of the world.

Everything you wanted to know about the Aiwa cassette player worn by Marty McFly in Back to the Future

The AIWA tape player model used is model number HS-PO2MK II made in 1984. The model is available in a red Body and a Silver Body. The silver one was used in the movie. Also the words Stereo is printed in a blue color.

Other similar models to Marty’s Tape Player include:

The first line of the song is “Cruisin’ Mos Espa in my DeLorean” The song is actually really cool especially if you’re a geek. It’s about how cool it is to be Boba Fett.

Another one is on ebay this one is in bad condition. The color looks yellow, probably from sitting in the sun. Lowest bid currently is $61 with 2 days remaining.

When I arrived at my destination in my Delorean I found out my gullwing door would not open. I played around with but with no luck. I tried to think why would this happened and then it hit me like a bolt of lightning. a bolt of lightning.

The valet shut the door for me and the logical conclusion is that he didn’t close the gullwing door all the way. I climbed out the passegner side and looked at the door. I locked it, I unlocked it, it opened.

I didn’t have any other problems with the doors but on the way home it started to rain hard and my winshield wipers decided that they didn’t want to work correctly anymore. I had to get off the highway and play around with it at the gas station and was able to get the passenger winshield wiper working so I drove home with my head tilted to the right.
