before anyone goes and says ” it looks like a viper, mercedes stole the viper”.. its not a viper copy at all. It’s just being used as a test mule. Read ze article.

For those interested, the doors open with gas struts. Sadly no torsion bar involved.Makes you wonder, what will they do if both struts fail???

I asked that myself but found out the doors and most of the car will be made out of composites, so the doors will probably weigh a lot less than that of a Delorean gullwing.
