Miami Marlins Vs Cubs

by bluxed on February 22, 2008

a “Sportsflash” holo-announcement starts. It says that the Chicago Cubs beat the Miami Gators in the World Series.

Marty: Wait a minute…..Cubs win World Series….against Miami?
Terry: Yeah, something huh? Who would have thought? 100 to 1 shot. I wish I could go back to the beginning of the season and put some money on the Cubs.
Marty: No, I just meant Miami…..what did you just say?
Terry: I said I wish I could go back to the beginning of the season, put some money on the Cubbies!

The Florida Marlins are now on course to be in their 37,000-seat, retractable-roof stadium ballpark in 2011. After the 2010 season the team will officially change its name to the Miami Marlins and move to their new $515 million dollar stadium.

How amazing would it of been if they actually changed the name to the Miami Gators. Lets see if Miami will face the cubs in the 2015 season.

This prediction cannot come true since both teams are in the National League. Unless one of the teams is switched to the American League.
