After carful consideration I realized I do not wish to sell the car at this time because i just love it too much. I’m still willing to accept offers that I may or may not consider.
But it looks like i’m going to finish restoring the Delorean and get some fun out of her.

My sister came over last night and my brother-in-law informs me there is a guy and girl outside taking pictures of my car. I went outside to take a gander and it was just 2 fans taking pictures of themselfs next to the car. Love it when people do that but hate it when they touch the car also when its clean.
My brother-in-law said, “I’d be worried someone would steal the car because it gets so many looks” I replied, “Jokes on you they couldn’t even if they knew how to steal it. The clutch doesn’t work.”

Marty looks over the DeLorean and sees an arrow that an Indian shot into the car. He pulls it out and stoops to look underneath, and sees liquid dripping from the bottom of the car.
“Damn, I ripped the fuel line.”
I was a a Shell gas station last night filling up the Delorean. The gas was filling up on its own while i stood back to admire the Delorean. I was amazed shortly after by the amount of gas it used to fill up the Delorean. Seconds later someone says to me
“Your car is leaking something.”
I go to the passenger side of the Delorean and see a fluid all over the floor i smell it and it was gasoline. I actually then said out loud, “Damn, I ripped the fuel line.” I called my friend and confirmed that the car wouldn’t explode as soon as i start the car. I decided to go for it. And drove the car away. The tank was saying its full. So what I’m guessing is i just over filled the tank and some of it spilled out.

The track “Good Morning” includes the lines, “I’m like the fly Malcolm X, buy any jeans necessary/ … Good morning, look at the valedictorian/ Some are scared of the future while I hop in the DeLorean.”
His new CD Graduation has a picture of a Delorean on the inside of the album.

I’m having problems getting the type of insurance I want for the Delorean. I was under the impression I could get collector car insurance because i have a garage and don’t plan on using the Delorean as a daily driver. I found out I need to be 25 to get collector car insurance from all the major providers (Hagerty, Heacock Classic etc)
Geico will give me Liabilty but nothing else so I am stuck with that in the mean time afraid to take the Delorean out for a drive.
All State supposibly will give me full coverage but it will only be stated value and not agreed value I may just have to settle with that for the next 2 and 1/2 years and drive extra carful.

I went to Walmart and purchased a car battery charger and charged the Delorean’s dead battery for about 45 minutes. Hooked everything back up and it started like a charm. Took it out for a little drive to help get the battery charged.
I hope the battery doesnt get drained again somehow if it does I’ll probably need a voltmeter or something to figure out what could be draining the battery and give the battery a good 10 hour charge.

Took the Delorean to Wendys a few hours ago. While in line the cashier was talking to me about the car how he alwasy wanted a Delorean. The drivers door was up while going thru the drive thru.
Some girl around 19 got out of her car and went up to take a closer look and said, “nice doors!”
On my way home at a redlight some other girl took out a camera and took a picture of the car. I opened my door so she could get another pic. As she drove away she said, “Really Nice Car!”.
Its nice that people appreciate the Delorean.

Mike, Vlad2 and I went to Steve’s Pizza to get a couple of slices. I got the best parking spot at the place right up front. Which made me able to watch people look and admire the Delorean.
I opened the door for a few people that wanted to see it go up. One middle-aged lady was looking at it with her friend and she didnt realize it was my car and she said, “That’s a poor man’s ferrari” I then yelled, “I’m not poor!!!” in a laughing way.
Fun Times.

I’m wondering if I could get a ticket for driving with the Delorean’s doors open. I wouldn’t actually do it at fast speeds.
I would do it at slow cruising speeds like on Ocean Drive in South Beach or in a residential neighborhood right before I reach my designation.

I just finished cleaning the Delorean. Everything took about 2 hours. I washed the outside, cleaned the rims, and used a stainless steel polish on car and Mother’s Back to Black on the black pieces of the car. The Back to Black made a big difference but is only a temporary fix until I get it painted.
Two of my neighbors admired the car while I was washing it and one said “Is that a Delorean!?!â€

I took the Delorean to the gas station to fill up the tank. Currently my gas gauge doesn’t work and needs to be fixed.
2 People getting gas was amazed to see the Delorean and asked if it was hard to find parts. I told them that many vendors existed.
The latch to open the hood was broken and a vice grip was in its place. I tried to open the hood but had no luck. I felt stupid trying for 5 minutes at the gas station and decided to leave and just go to Blockbuster and fill up the tank tomorrow.
When I arrived at blockbuster about five people in their early 20s were getting in their car. They saw the Delorean and all their jaws dropped. They told me how the car is amazing. I then said, “Look what movie I’m returning” and lifted the movie Back to the Future.
They cheered and when I was inside the store I kept an eye on the Delorean and watched as they stared at it for 5 minutes.
When I got home I continued trying to open the bonnet with no luck after some help from DMCTalk.com I learned to really pull hard towards rear and lift hood at the same time. It was still hard and found a remote unlock kit which I plan to get to make my life easier.
