On Thursday, August 2, 2007 at 10:00 a.m., Universal Studios Hollywood, The Entertainment Capital of L.A., will host an event for the press to mark the official countdown to the closing of “Back to the Future–The Ride” and its final journey into the “space-time continuum” on September 3, 2007. The highlight of the event will feature Doc Brown arriving at the Universal Studios Hollywood theme park in a collectible DeLorean before setting the countdown clock to Sept. 3.
To celebrate this momentous occasion, Universal Studios Hollywood is inviting DeLorean owners to become part of history before “Back to the Future–The Ride” becomes a thing of the past and visit the theme park in your DeLorean on Aug. 2 in exchange for a free admission ticket. In order to receive a free ticket (for you and one passenger) you must arrive to Universal Studios Hollywood by 9:30 a.m. as they are attempting to create an en masse arrival of Deloreans.

Please note, that vehicles will need to pay for parking, however, at that time, you will receive your free voucher to the Universal Studios Hollywood theme park, which will be valid for August 2, 2007 only. Please also be aware that you must arrive by 9:30 a.m. to take advantage of this offer; anyone arriving after 10:15 a.m. will not be eligible, so please remember to RSVP.
