I was recently at www.cinemassacre.com (home of the Angry Video Game Nerd) and he has been posting pictures of his visits to BTTF filming locations lately, and I found one set that intrigued me. In his travels, AVGN found some seeminlgy old gaffer tape in the parking lot of Twin Pines Mall. 23 year old gaffer tape perhaps? It may or may not be from BTTF, but from the way it was described, it sounds like a good possibility.
Yesterday I took the Delorean out for a drive and my tire went over a curb when i was parking. I got instantly worried but it seemed fine but an hour later it was completly flat. Luckily I was right near my parents house so I got it to their house ok.
My friend suggested we put the spare on. But honestly it is the original spare and probably hasn’t been touched since 1984. I doub’t it would even have air in it.I’m going to look at the tire today to see if it could be fixed but I will most likely just buy a new tire. Hopefully I will be able to get it fixed before the tech day next Saturday.Â

Awesome video that allows you to see a lot of detail of time traveling by playing the scenes from the Back to the Future trilogy in slow motion. One thing I noticed especially is that the fire trail comes from all four tires and not just the back two. Thanks Okta for creating the video.
The Michael J. Fox Foundation announced today that actor Ryan Reynolds has joined the Michael J. Fox Foundation’s mission to find a cure for Parkinson’s disease. Reynolds will serve as the first Celebrity Chair of Team Fox. Reynolds, along with 130 Team Fox members, will run the ING New York City Marathon on November 2, 2008, in honor of his father, who has Parkinson’s disease.
“I am proud to be a part of this team of dedicated and motivated people who are getting out there and making a difference,” said Ryan. “The Michael J. Fox Foundation is doing whatever it takes to improve patients’ quality of life and deliver a cure to people living with PD, like my father.”

As I’ve mentioned before I have been talking with some costume makers and i’m still trying to explain every detail i want. Making the head piece perfect and adding the missing belt. Getting the right shade of yellow.Currently the estimate is $199 for the radiation suit like the one worn by Marty in Back to the Future. If I order in bulk I’m told I can get them cheaper. So i’m thinking of ordering 10 and should be able to get the price between $125-$150 shipped.If you are interested in getting one of these or want more information, Please let me know right away. Kanye West closed the VMA’s performing a new song. MTV was advertising this throughout the VMA’s. Since his latest video is Good Morning I hoped it would be that song and it would feature a Delorean but unfortunately it was not.
Miraj Caps is offering a limited release of a screen accurate lenticular hat worn by Michael J. Fox in Back to the Future 2. I consider this the most screen accurate version of this hat available. Unlike other versions of this hat that was sold by Miraj Caps a few years ago or from Universal Studios in the mid 90s Like the one in the movie this cap is fitted, no stiching, and does not have the button on top.
You can purchase the screen accurate lenticular hat now at MirajCaps.com. The old lenticular hats that were not screen accurate looked like this and are more expensive on ebay compared to the screen accurate versions from MirajCaps.com. From what I understand the limited run was set at 500 and they’ve been on sale for about a month now. So if you want one of these i wouldn’t want and jump on it right away. I got mine now I just gotta find the 2015 Jacket and some real 2015 sneakers not the fake inaccurate hyperdunks. Â

Got a new battery and the Delorean started right up. I’m pretty sure the valet killed the battery by leaving the lights on. Â Update:Â The problem happened again after leaving the car off with the doors open for 5 minutes. This did not seem possible that a brand new battery would get drained that quickly. After taking a look at the positive terminal i played around with it and the car started perfectly.I’m going to take the advice I got and clean all the terminals. I’m guessing that it is getting a bad connection at times. I’ll bet that my other battery isn’t actually dead also.Â
The building where i live you have to valet your car. You can’t park your car yourself. (drives me crazy)Â Anyways so there is a new valet guy and i come home at midnight and give him the key and explain to him where the headlight button is and how to go into reverse and go to my loft.
When i am off to work the next morning the car is still parked and the regular valet guys tell me they can’t start the car.I get the keys and inspect really quickly and the battery is completly dead. When i parked it was fine and was driving it for 20 minutes prior. I do not see any reason for the battery to just be dead.
Does anyone have any suggestions? After work i’m going to get my car battery charger and give it a full charge.
